ABOUT US
Cafe Ray is a new independent cafe in Helsingborg, Sweden serving specialty roast coffee and fika by day, and screening underground films by night in our micro cinema.
Located in old town Helsingborg at one of the city’s busiest intersections, Cafe Ray caters to a wide demographic of locals, coffee lovers, ex-pats, students and a diverse community of creatives. We embrace the independent, micro cinema movement with 2 separate 15 seat screening spaces offering screenings of independent short films, works by local creatives, non-dependent feature films ,experimental and impact driven documentaries. We host open mic music nights, art exhibitions and author talks too.
We collaborate with film festivals, film schools and creative institutions to elevate the conversation around socially relevant stories and and cultural issues of our time. We offer a space for independent works to connect with their audiences.
Cafe Ray is available to rent for private events, work-in-progress screenings and corporate hires.
